File under, 'What I did on my summer vacation'. A silhouetted Ren scribbles away in our hotel window, with an amazing construction site in the background. A deeply discounted stay at the riverfront Hilton made Bangkok in July almost bearable... especially the 5th floor pool that looked out to the river and the city beyond.
